The Mombasa region in southern Kenya is a favorite with tourists not only for its Eden like environment consisting of beaches as far as the eye can see, but also for its superb stretches of wild natural areas with their legendary flora and fauna. Diani Beach with its sparkling sand is famous for its postcard like décor, where the horizon becomes one with the blue of the ocean, and where lovers of the sea can go deep sea diving to discover the underwater treasures and coral reefs, or try their hand at jet skiing. Horseback riding is another excellent and different way to discover the region. Safaris are a tradition here, as well excursions to some of the region’s spectacular sites. The Tsavo National Park for example, possesses several hectares of nature. It’s a treat to stroll through the area and run across troops of dust-covered elephants, giraffes as well as lions and rhinos. It’s also a chance to climb the Mudanda Rock and observe the troops of buffalo bathing at the end of the day, or to admire the Yatta plateau. It’s here in this region, about an hour from Mombasa that we find the famous Alfajiri Villas.
If you want to stay at one of the most beautiful villas on Kenya’s east coast, the sumptuous residences of the Alfajiri Villas complex is the place to go. Its three villas each have a name that suggests a getaway vacation. You have a choice between The Cliff, The Garden or The Beach villa. Owned by Fabrizio and Marika Molinaro, they all offer the highest degree of comfort. The villas all have spacious bathrooms, a kitchen, a living room and dining room as well as a huge veranda with a panoramic view of the horizon and the Indian Ocean.
The private swimming pool for each villa, with the ideal water temperature, is perfect for a moment of relaxation and unforgettable enjoyment. At nightfall, large tables await families or groups of friends for dinner. Meals, inspired by Mediterranean flavors are prepared with products from adjacent farms or fish from the nearby ocean, also served on the terraces of the rooms for a truly intimate and romantic ambience. The personnel will add to these unforgettable moments by their kindness and total discretion. They are multilingual and will meet all your demands to assure that you have a delightful vacation.
“On a sunny beach off the Kenyan coast, the three charming Alfajiri houses are a hedonistic parenthesis on the shores of the Indian Ocean. An African ‘dolce vita’ imagined by a refined Italian couple.” – Hôtel & Lodge magazine.
