More than just a legendary ski station, Courchevel is the perfect embodiment of a luxurious vacation. The station was officially opened in May, 1946 and was originally conceived as a resort for visitors of all social and economic levels and thus destined to increase tourism in the Savoie region by offering everyone a mountain vacation. Courchevel’s 119 slopes measuring approximately 493 kilometers makes it one of the largest skiable areas in the world. Its 174 ski lifts accommodate 32,000 tourists in high season, assisted by 800 ski monitors.

The Comptoir de l’Apogée is a chic brasserie type restaurant which serves local, generous cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere.
